Traveling as a vegan can be challenging, especially when finding food. As vegans do not consume animal products or by-products – such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy – we must take extra steps to ensure access to plant-based foods that meet our dietary requirements.
Depending on the location, this may be difficult since many restaurants cater primarily to non-vegetarians and offer limited vegan options. In some areas, there is little knowledge of what constitutes “vegan” food so navigating menus can prove tricky.
Furthermore, language barriers may make it even harder for us.
So, I have started this blog to help combat these challenges while traveling as a vegan. I really hope it helps you with your adventures!
