I was recently invited to have coffee at Kind Bean in Chandler. When I walked in, I did not initially realize that this was a vegetarian restaurant. I was greeted by (as I found out later) the owner, Clay. He saw me come in and immediately asked if I had been here before and what I would like to order. He then let me know that the food is all planted-based which I was very excited about because the food looked amazing.
I immediately ordered a cinnamon roll and a coffee. Clay also let me know that Kind Bean had a loyalty program for future store credits. Clay gave me time to download the app and register before paying, so I could take advantage of my points on my first visit.
While I was waiting for my friend to arrive, Clay came over to talk further. He thanked me for dining at his coffee shop. As we discussed this great little shop and how it got started, he let me know that their motto is “Kindness Matters”. By observing his interaction with the customers and the shop itself, I could really see this. Clay greeted many of the customers by name!
I was extremely pleased with my order. The coffee was hot and delicious and the cinnamon roll was gooey and flavorful. I would have like to try more of the breakfast options, but my waistline did not agree!
Overall, this coffee shop was a great find with a great atmosphere, conversation, and coffee. It’s also right next to KTR Chandler, which is on our Pogo Pass (Promo Code: VeganFamily). I’m so excited to bring the kids here for a snack; then we’ll go play for the afternoon at KTR.
