Disney World: Delicious Vegan Meals

Disney World is one of the most vegan friendly places we have visited. We let the server know that we were vegan when we sat down to eat and we did not have any problems with our meals. Everyone was helpful and willing to accommodate us. We even found the staff going out of their way to make our dining experience better, such as being served vegan desserts when there were no options at the buffet.

We tried to eat at least one meal each day in the room to maximize the Dining Plan. We got the Regular Dining Plan which offered us 1 table serve meal, 1 quick service meal, and 2 snacks per day. We found this to be the perfect amount of food and were happy with purchasing this. We typically like to travel as “all inclusive” as possible, so paying for the Dining Plan ahead of time gave us that feel. Also, many of the character meals are very pricy. Having paid for everything as the beginning in a package, makes it easier to justify the price when we were not eating the expensive part of the buffet like the meat.

Here are some of our favorite places around Disney World:

Beach Club Resort

Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Adults: Beyond Burger with fries (sub bun for vegan bread)

Kids: Hamburger Kid’s Meal (sub Beyond Burger add lettuce) and Mickey Ice Cream Sundae (sub dairy free ice cream)

Any Park

Mickey Pretzels (What a treat!)

Magic Kingdom

Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn

Veggie Bowls. They have a ton of different topping you can add to the bowl.

Liberty Inn in World Showcase in America

Veggie burgers with fries

Sunshine Seasons (Future World):

Adults: Vegan Korma

Kids: Rice, salad, and apples. The Vegan Korma was so good that we went back more than once.

Animal Kingdom

Tusker House

We had a tour of the buffet by the chef and ate straight off the menu. It looks like an odd assortment of food, but it was absolutely delicious. The chef also put together a dessert plate for us since there were not any vegan dessert options.

Hollywood Studios

Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine. The kids met Mickey and Goody. Again, the chef was accommodating and gave us a tour of the buffet. We were able to find plenty of options.
